Both Kia and Chevrolet are renewing their mid size sedans in the same time.

The leap in styling made by the Malibu from the current generation, is far bigger than the leap made by the Optima.

But in this segment, sales are the only thing that validates a car, and if you look on their current sales, both of them are underdogs.

But can either of them crack the top 3, in the mid size sedan sales race?

Will we see mainstream cars launched in exciting colors, instead of white and silver?

Those chrome vent things on the front end of the Kia make me uncomfortable. Those should be fog lights or something. The interior looks very E90 BMW-ish. I like it.

GM really should have showed off the Malibu interior in a different color combo, parchment over beige isn't appealing in any interior. I think it'll look good in black or a scheme similar to the Kias.
